Reactions to Resurrection (Luke 24:1-34)

Phillip HopwoodPhillip Hopwood, April 16, 2017
Part of the Easter series, preached at a Festival service

The resurrection of Jesus is an "unbelievable" event at so many levels for us. This sermon takes a look at the various reactions Jesus' followers had at the time. They reflect our reactions to difficult life events, as well as to God and his ways.
But as they worked through their initial reactions, the resurrected Jesus gave them (and us) life giving and life changing encouragement, hope and purpose.

  2. Paul has been undermined by other teachers of the gospel who contend he is not a very impressive speaker when he is with the Church in Corinth. This sermon addresses what our defense is when an attack comes against us that is rooted in the flesh.
