Empathetic Listening (Parakaleo IV) (Mark 4:1-29)

Phillip HopwoodPhillip Hopwood, October 30, 2011
Part of the Parakaleo series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Jesus calls on us to "listen" shows how important it is to listen receptively. As we love God by listening to him, we love others by being fertile and receptive soil when listening to others.

  2. Paul has been undermined by other teachers of the gospel who contend he is not a very impressive speaker when he is with the Church in Corinth. This sermon addresses what our defense is when an attack comes against us that is rooted in the flesh.
