God’s Foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18-31, Isaiah 20:11-14)

Phillip HopwoodPhillip Hopwood, July 31, 2016
Part of the Misc. series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

This sermon looks at I Corinthians 1:18-31. It reminds us that God’s wisdom and ways are foolishness to mankind. God's Son dying on a cross seems insane. But that so called foolishness, is really the only real answer to our world’s problems, and for our lives.

  2. Paul has been undermined by other teachers of the gospel who contend he is not a very impressive speaker when he is with the Church in Corinth. This sermon addresses what our defense is when an attack comes against us that is rooted in the flesh.
