The Good News of the Incarnation (Philippians 3:20-21, Colossians 1:15-23)

Phillip HopwoodPhillip Hopwood, December 6, 2015
Part of the Advent series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The miracle and message of Christmas isn't about shining stars, wise men and choirs of angels. These and other events and aspects of Christmas are there to accompany and point us to the vital event that lies at the centre of it all, the incarnation, God entering into human existence. This lies at the heart of the good news message for us all.

  2. Paul has been undermined by other teachers of the gospel who contend he is not a very impressive speaker when he is with the Church in Corinth. This sermon addresses what our defense is when an attack comes against us that is rooted in the flesh.
