Our eyes allow us to walk with surety and confidence. Advent reminds us that God's promises (prophecy) gives us a future hope that gives us meaning and direction to our lives today. A future not floating in the clouds with harps and servants, but right here on earth, where God will dwell and Jesus will lead us all to true peace and community.
